Hi, I’m Joseph Deutsch and this is my blog (content here). In the fall of 2022 I began a PhD in statistics at the University of Pennsylvania. In the six years before that, I worked as a data scientist on projects including machine learning for targeted advertising; fraud detection; social network analysis; and survey design with inferential analyses.

I have a BS in math and statistics and an MS in statistics, all from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In my free time I enjoy general outdoorsy things like rock climbing and road cycling.
